Meet Our Staff
Will Hagan, DPT
Will graduated from North Georgia College and State University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. He also earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University in 2007. Will is originally from Statesboro, GA but moved to the Mills River area in 2014. He has a background in helping patients with a wide range of orthopedic issues that range from reducing musculoskeletal pain, improving balance, rehabilitation after surgery, and helping athletes return to sports or improve their performance. When not helping patients, he enjoys trail running, hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing, and traveling.
Jeanette Witherspoon, DPT
Jeanette received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University in April of 2017. She also graduated with a Bachelors in Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University in 2014. She has a background in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal issues in both outpatient and hospital settings. She is certified in Dry Needling which she uses to treat trigger points and tight musculature in certain patients. She is originally from Ohio but decided to move to North Carolina with her fiancé after her graduation. She loves the hiking and views that the mountains in this area offer, making this an excellent place to live. If you have any suggestions on places to hike or things to do in this area, don’t hesitate to give her suggestions! She also enjoys swimming, searching for waterfalls, reading, and spending time with her fiancé at home. She joined the Mills River Physical Therapy team in 2017 and is thrilled to have found such an excellent place to work with such wonderful people.
